Bill Petrie has over 17 years working in executive leadership positions at leading promotional products distributorships. In 2014, he launched brandivate – the first executive outsourcing company solely focused on helping small and medium sized promotional products enterprises responsibly grow their business. Kirby Hasseman is the CEO of Hasseman Marketing & Communications, a full-service marketing company and promotional products distributor. Kirby is on the board of PromoKitchen, a non-profit agency that is dedicated to education and mentorship in Promo and hosts a weekly Web show called Delivering Marketing Joy where he interviews business leaders from around the country. Kirby has also published four books, his most recent book called Fan of Happy is available now.

Bill and Kirby are two of the most prolific content creators in the industry, their consistent innovation, creative risk, and fun and wise counsel has helped many in the business. In this session delivered at skucamp, Bill and Kirby covered a lot of territory on content marketing beginning with the principle that we are in a “give first economy,” and they focused on the four C’s of excellent content, that it should be creative, consistent, consumable, and courageous.
