We’ve been on an exciting journey over the past couple of years with the growth of commonsku. From our initial beta launch in September of 2011, we have doubled in size every year for the past 5 years, primarily through word of mouth, inbound requests, and referrals.
In the Fall of 2016, we decided it was time to start taking things to the next level and build out a sales organization. In thinking about what the person could look like, who would be able to lead the charge, the order was tall.
Enter Samantha Kates. Who could have possibly imagined we would find someone who had been a distributor, a supplier, as well as the founder of a technology company?? A match made in heaven.
The very first conversation we had with Sam on the phone, we knew she was going to be the perfect fit for us. She was curious, energetic, and had great insights from moment one. We flew her up to Toronto to meet the team and we all knew we were going to make some magic together.
Samantha brings a phenomenal energy to the table and wealth of experience from her roles as a distributor owner, head of sales at iPromoteU, Charles River, and most recently Fruit of the Loom. She deeply understands the industry from all sides and has had great success in growing sales organizations and building highly successful, deeply loyal teams.
